NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE – May 14, 2012 – Some early risers in parts of Niagara-on-the-Lake were greeted to a brief power outage caused by a downed power line. Niagara-on-the-Lake Hydro Inc. (“NOTL”) has applied to the Ontario Energy Board (the “Board”) for permission to increase its delivery charges beginning May 1, 2012 to reflect the recovery of costs for deployed smart meters.
