There were two outages on April 14, 2018. The primary outage occurred at 10:58am when several Hydro One transmission poles fell bringing down the line that fed our NOTL Station which supplied power to half the town. NOTL line crew were able to switch supply to our York Station beginning at 12:09pm. The switching was not fully completed until 1:57pm when power was restored to the Olde Town area. The affected poles have since been replaced by Hydro One.
In a completely separate outage, several poles on Four Mile Creek road fell causing a localized outage. NOTL Hydro crews reinforced these poles for safety. They were then replaced on the next business day.
