Customers in Virgil, Glendale, Lakeshore, Queenston and some rural areas lost power on Friday night at around 10.45pm. Cause of the outage was loss of supply from Hydro One, due to breaker failure at Beck hydro plant. NOTL Hydro crews responded and transferred the load to the other supply. All power was restored around 12.30am. Hydro One restored their supply around 01.15am, and NOTL Hydro crews switched the power back to that supply without interrupting any customers around 01.30am.
