High wind alert in NOTL. Please be prepared for potential outages in the Niagara-on-the-Lake area throughout Friday which should diminish early this evening. Potential for thunderstorms this evening as well will add to potential outages. NOTL Hydro has experienced several small outages today and expect more this evening if the weather continues:
- Outage on Lakeshore Road due to tree branch on lines.
- Outage in Olde Town area in several areas due to downed trees.
- There is potential for broken poles due to the wind and further downed trees.
