Approximately 2,500 NOTL Hydro customers were without power June 13, 2024 from 1:03 pm to 2:31 pm due to a fault in the underground portion of a feeder line from York Station. Normally, there are only around 200 customers on this feeder but the load was expanded as the NOTL Station was offline to allow for some Hydro One maintenance on its 115 kV transmission line and to avoid transmission double peak billing. All services have been restored and the NOTL Station is now online to ensure no issues with the expected coming heat wave. More detail will be provided in a press release next week.
