Niagara-on-the-Lake Hydro (NOTL Hydro) is pleased to announce that the 2025 wraps for three hydro boxes have now been installed. This annual event, done in conjunction with the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre and the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, provides a reward to local artists whose work is selected to wrap the hydro boxes. NOTL Hydro pays for the wrap.
The theme for 2025 was Canada

Niagara Hands, Canadian Heart by Nancy Wardle is a strong statement of Canadian pride. This hydro box is located on York Rd in front of the Gateway Centre.

Forever by Janet Horne Cozens reflects the uniquely Canadian style of painting as popularized by the Group of Seven. This box is located on Field Rd in front of the Meridian Credit Union building.

NOTL Golf – 150 Years Strong by Gail Kerr was the People’s Choice Award winner and celebrates Canada’s oldest golf course in continuous use. This hydro box is located at the junction of Niven Rd. and Niagara Stone Rd.
This is the seventh year of the hydro box wrap competition. A total of twenty one hydro boxes have been wrapped under this program and two more have been wrapped from private participation.
NOTL Hydro hopes that residents and tourists alike will enjoy the talent on display on these boxes and the pleasant change from the standard greed utility box.
