Donations are needed year-round
Niagara-on-the-Lake Hydro (NOTL Hydro) is pleased to announce the results of its recent eBilling promotion. Thanks to the strong participation of our customers, a total of $3,580 has been donated to Newark Neighbours as a direct result of this initiative.
From October through the end of December 2025, the promotion offered a $10 donation to local charity Newark Neighbours for every customer who switched to eBilling. Customers not only made a convenient and environmentally responsible choice but also helped support a local organization dedicated to assisting those in need within the community.
“Newark Neighbours Food Bank & Thrift Store is very grateful for the support from Niagara-on-the-Lake Hydro for the generosity they have consistently demonstrated for many years over the holiday season,” said Genevieve Lawrence, Food Bank Manager from Newark Neighbours. “Every year, their toy and gift program ensures that we have a very large supply of Christmas gifts for the children of our Food Bank families. This, along with our food hamper program, ensures that our clients and their families have a wonderful and happy holiday season. While the promotion has ended, the needs of those served by Newark Neighbours remain constant throughout the year. Support for Newark Neighbours does not follow seasonal patterns, and ongoing contributions continue to play an important role in helping locals in need. Niagara on the Lake Hydro launched a new online customer portal in August 2025, providing customers with a convenient digital option to access services and information in one secure location. Since launching, eBilling adoption has increased by over 25%.
