Niagara-on-the-Lake Hydro (NOTL Hydro) is pleased to announce that it has made a donation of $3,090 to Community Care St. Catharines & Thorold (Community Care).
The $3,090 represents a $10 donation for each of the 309 NOTL Hydro customers that have switched from receiving both a paper bill and eBill to strictly eBilling. This switch was made as part of the introduction of NOTL Hydro’s new customer facing platform. This new platform will provide NOTL Hydro’s customers with a more user-friendly and informative experience as relates to their usage, monthly bills and other electricity related matters.
Community Care was chosen as the recipient of this donation as they provide ongoing support to Niagara-on-the-Lake residents including helping to manage the Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) and providing financial assistance with utility bills to those in need.
Going forward, NOTL Hydro will make a $10 donation to Newark Neighbours for all customers that convert to e-billing by the end of 2025. NOTL Hydro has partnered with Newark Neighbours for many years with its annual Food & Toy Drive as part of the Niagara-on-the-Lake Santa Claus Parade.
